Passing UK-Landy

Concentrating on the tricky pot-holed roads, we bumped into Rob & Ann-Clare in their red Defender 110. Having spent the last 8 months in Southern and Eastern Africa, they were heading back to the UK via the western route.  We spent the evening together exchanging lots of tips about our various travels.

Well practiced by now

The road to Benguela was challenging (this was to become synonymous with Angolan roads) and the surrounding landscape with was bleak.
It truly amazes me that the Angolan government does nothing about waste management ... sadly there is rubbish everywhere.
